The 7 Rocky River Run raises funds for the Rockhampton community such as Ronald McDonald house and the prevention of youth suicide, which has been a significant issue in Rockhampton for several years. The 7 Rocky River Run has become a great tourist attraction for Rockhampton and is a major contributor to funding local community groups.
When is 7 RRR 2017?
The 7 Rocky River Run is being held on Sunday 28th of May 2017, celebrating its tenth successful year. Rockhampton’s favourite charity event once again promises to be a fun day out, all in the name of a good cause!
Who is CTC?
CTC is a long established, local not-for-profit labour hire, recruitment, apprenticeship, training organisation based in Rockhampton that also works with homeless youth. CTC are excited to continue the tradition of this event.
What races can I enter?
This popular run has a variety of races you can sign up for that cater for different fitness levels. The race distances range from half marathons to a 2km and 5km wheelchair course as well as a more relaxed family walk or run of 2km.

Can I apply for a community grant?
As a result of the successful CTC Rocky River Run charity event in June 2016, there are additional funds available for the local community.
Community Grants are available to support projects which assist in the intervention and prevention of youth suicide for vulnerable people in the Rockhampton region. You can read more details about community grants and apply for a community grant by completing the application form.
