How do I register a team?
In the registration process there is the an option to ‘Create a Team’. If you create a team, you will be the team captain who then has access to the contact details of everyone who joins your team. Team members can then be invited and register, or you can register on their behalf via the Active account. When you finish your entry and have created your team you can ‘Add a participant’. Enter all the participants details and proceed to check-out. Repeat this process for each participant.
This year we have introduced a new system called Self-Registration Teams. This process allows a team captain to set up a team upon registration which will then qualify them and anyone who then joins that team to receive an automatic 10% off their initial registration fee, no link required.
There is no maximum limit to the number of participants that can be in a team.
Make sure once you sign up a team, each member also completes the registration process. Even if you have paid for all of your team members, we still need their individual details for the team registration to be complete!
Are there medals/ t-shirts?
Yes, every finisher will receive a medal. The first 2,000 people to register will receive a free 7 Rocky River Run t-shirt.
Can our company be invoiced for staff members who want to compete in the run?
Yes, we will setup a code so that you can give this code to your employees to register (so they don’t have to pay) and then we can invoiced your business for the cost of these registrations at the end of the event.
What times are the events running on the day?
6:15am – Channel 7 Half Marathon
7:00am – McDonalds 10KM
8:30am – CTC Labour Hire 5KM
8.45am – Rockhampton Regional Council 2KM
Will my run be timed?
Yes, if you register before the timing cut off date of 13 May your bib will have timing chips attached to the back. After this date we cannot guarantee you will have a timed run. Please note only the 21km, 10km and 5km events are timed.
What if I wish to change my event?
Let us know about the event change on bib-day (26 May) and we can allocate you to a different event. There will be no refund for changing into a shorter distance event, as there is admin involved in the process. If switching to a longer distance, you will be charged the difference in registration fees.

What is the prize money for each event?
